Lehigh Type GU Cement conforms to the requirements of CSA A3000-08 “Cementitious Materials Compendium”. It must not be used without the appropriate amounts of SCMs when concrete is exposed to elevated levels of sulphates in soil or water.

Lehigh Type HE High Early Strength Cement

Lehigh Type HE Cement produces higher early strengths relative to a normal Type GU cement. It is formulated to be used in concrete, mortars and grouts that require rapid strength gain or that will be utilized in cold weather construction. The use of Type HE cement is beneficial in projects where concrete must be put into service quickly or requires early form removal.
